About the Author

Rod Reasen II is a serial entrepreneur and mission-driven executive whose career spans financial services, health data analytics, venture-backed software, manufacturing, and defense.

Rod co-founded Springbuk, an award-winning health intelligence platform that used data to help employers identify emerging health risks and prevent disease. Under his leadership, Springbuk grew to serve thousands of organizations nationwide before its sale. This experience, its impact, and cost deepened Rod’s conviction that success without mission is hollow.

In 2023, Rod became the Chief Executive Officer of Daniel Defense, a Georgia-based manufacturer renowned for its world-class craftsmanship, innovation, and people-first culture. His leadership emphasizes operational excellence, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to customers, the community, and the country.

Faith is not an accessory to Rod’s career. It is the operating system. He is passionate about uniting personal ambition with holy calling, helping men and women integrate their work, gifts, and circumstances into a singular life of purpose. He regularly invests in mentoring, discipleship, and leadership development, believing that transformed people transform families, organizations, and nations.

Rod serves on the board of Central Africa Bible University (CABU) in Zambia.

When he is not building teams or writing, Rod enjoys spending time on the water, fishing, racing, boating, and dreaming with his wife, Stephanie, while savoring life with their growing family in the Southeast.
